♫ In The Air There's A Feeling Of Christmas ♪

The Salt Lake City street lights blinked a bright red and green for us as we set out to start our holidays with a walk around downtown. We met mom at her office after work and following dinner, we set about strolling through "Temple Square". The headquarters of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the heart of Salt Lake City and each year The Church spends weeks draping every limb and bush with holiday lights. It's a Christmas tradition for many to walk the grounds each year. We don't necessarily observe such a tradition but couldn't help but hope that Emma, this being her first Christmas and her 11th month anniversary, would be fascinated by the dazzling array of lights. Emma certainly enjoyed herself all bundled up in her penguin suit. We had a great time ourselves walking though the brisk air and taking in a bit of Christmas cheer.
